The Way She Goes Is this just the way she goes? When springtime comes, the rivers flow. Are the seasons changing, well, I don’t know; Or is it just the way she goes? Could it be the seas are rising, and the storm clouds rolling in? Have we brought on fury and vengeance, or is this how it’s always been? Think I’ll just go downstairs ‘til it all calms down: Just hope the winds of change don’t blow in my hometown. Don’t know how our love went wrong: I had her heart, but not for long. We loved too fast, but grew too slow: I guess that’s just the way she goes. Think I’ll go get a drink ‘til she calms down. Maybe in her sweet time She’ll come around. Is this just the way she goes? When it gets too much, the teardrops flow. Could this be the end, well, I don’t know. I guess that’s just the way she goes.
